A space to gather, create, and celebrate.

The Veranda is a warm, light-filled space for intimate weddings, cozy gatherings, and creative moments - designed to feel simple, personal, and like home.

Not everything needs to be big to be meaningful.

The Veranda was created for the in-between moments - the smaller ones, the quieter ones, the ones that feel a little more like you.

A simple “I do”.
A cozy celebration with your people.
A place to create, think, or reset.

You walk in, and something softens. There’s no pressure to make it perfect. No expectation to turn it into something it’s not. Just natural light, a calm space, and room to make it your own.

If you’re planning something - big or small - and want it to feel a little more relaxed, a little more personal, I’d love to hear about it.

There’s something about this space that people notice right away.

Why The Veranda is different

Maybe it’s the natural light.

Maybe it’s the way the sun sets across the St. Clair River just outside.

Or maybe it’s just that it doesn’t feel like a typical venue.

  • Approx. 1300 sq. ft. of open, flexible space

  • Located downtown, just across from the St. Clair River

  • Beautiful natural light throughout the day + warm evening sunsets

  • Step-free entrance (easy, accessible, welcoming)

  • Tables and chairs included

  • A collection of decor pieces available to use

It’s simple, but thoughtfully so.

“Such a beautifully decorated space! The website and easy to use for bookings and very reasonably priced! Danielle was easy to work with and accommodating (had to change our booking time). Would definitely recommend this space for small events or needing a place to take pictures.”

A space built with care.

The Veranda is a labour of love. It’s not just me behind it - it’s my family too.
My sister, my mom, my husband… all of us have had a hand in bringing this space to life in different ways. That’s part of why it feels the way it does. It was built with care, and it’s shared the same way.

I care deeply about the people who walk through this space. I’ll always do what I can to make things feel easier, to answer questions, and to support you where it makes sense - without overcomplicating your experience.
