Host an intimate event with us

Whether you’re looking to host a shower, birthday, engagement or something else, The Veranda is the perfect boho backdrop to your special day. Our natural light studio is intimate, warm, and cozy. Whether you’re a host who wants to create your own experience or walk in and have everything done for you, we’re here to help.

Our space comfortably seats 30 people, and 50 people for standing receptions. Additional hours can be requested at $50 per hour. All packages include support from The Veranda’s event coordinator. See below our event packages.

Package #1

THE BLANK CANVAS

Investment: $400 plus HST

We provide the bones, you do the rest. For the host who wants to put their own finishing touch on their event. Great for baby showers, bridal showers, and birthdays.

This event package includes:

  • 5 hours in our natural light space

  • Up to six 6 ft. rectangular folding tables or four round folding cocktail tables

  • Padded white folding chairs (for up to 30 people)

  • Basic setup (room set as you prefer), tear down and studio cleaning

  • Access to wood bar on wheels

  • Access to all studio furniture (couch, decorative chairs, live plants, etc.)

  • WiFi, bluetooth speaker and access to mini fridge

Package #2

THE MAIN EVENT

Investment: $600 plus HST

For the host who wants everything done and ready to go. Great for cocktail receptions, engagement parties, elevated showers, and birthdays.

This event package includes everything in our Blank Canvas package, PLUS:

  • An extra two hours in our natural light space (7 hours total)

  • Black scuba tablecloth rental

  • Cheesecloth table runner rental in your preferred colour (deep red, sunflower yellow, light green) Additional colours available upon request.

  • Minimalist floral centrepieces

Food policy
Renters are welcome to bring their own food or work with a caterer in as we do not have a kitchen on site.

Alcohol policy
Private Events
The Veranda does not provide or serve alcohol. If alcohol is consumed on-site, the renter assumes full responsibility and liability for themselves and their guests. Alcohol must not be served to anyone under 19 years of age, in accordance with Ontario law.

Public Events
Appropriate alcohol permits and event insurance must be secured.

We invite renters to work with outside vendors (i.e. florists, caterers, etc.) to make their day perfect as they see fit.
